CALL FOR PROPOSALS
RESEARCH ON THE DIGITAL DIVIDE IN MACROOM AND SURROUNDING AREA
BACKGROUND
SECAD is seeking to engage external contracted resources to produce a
piece of research related to the Digital Divide in Macroom and
surrounding areas.
The contracted party or parties which may be sourced from an
individual contractor, sole trader, or partnership thereof, will be
required to research on a digital skills deficit in the Macroom area
among specified demographic cohorts.
This piece of work will include profiling a client base which
demonstrates poor or non-existent digital skills, and aided by this
research, to map pathways to support this cohort to move forward into
relevant training and/or more sustainable employment. The research is
intended to build out a support and training framework to tackle this
digital divide while identifying and working with key stakeholders in
the field.
SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS
Those submitting proposals may be asked to meet with SECAD as part of
the selection process (on-line or in person if restrictions allow).
